Hardee’s Internal Training Video: Blooper Reel
Being the “Pioneers of the Great American Burger” isn’t a responsibility Hardee’s takes lightly. When introducing new processes to make their tasty burgers even tastier, Hardee’s called on Parachute to create a training video for their employees. This video needed to be both informative and entertaining.…and we were only a few weeks out from the release of the burger. Luckily, creating engaging content with a quick turnaround isn’t a responsibility we take lightly.
We brainstormed and sent some super fun ideas for the training video over to the Hardee’s team. Their favorite concept was a unique take on the classic infomercial, tacky headset, and all. Think: ShamWow guy meets Billy Mays. When this concept was approved, we knew our friend Nathan was the perfect talent for the job. He was able to take our script and add his own comedic flair.
Since this video was going to be used for training purposes, we had to use an actual Hardee’s kitchen. This meant we couldn’t start filming until after 9 p.m. when the store closed. Fueled by coffee and tacos, our creative team worked through the night to get everything we needed for our quick turnaround for the training video. We even stepped in front of the camera when there was a last-minute need for an extra (Shelby’s high school theatre experience was finally put to good use! 😉).
Within a week, we were able to provide the client with an engaging training video for their employees to get everyone on board for the newest Hardee’s menu item. Check out some of our favorite bloopers from this project!
