Smart, no, brilliant is a better word to describe Kristin Dick, VP of Operations at Parachute Media.
Kristin joined Parachute right as we were entering a BOOM of growth, and her skills have been tested and have proven extremely valuable. As Ryan says, “If we needed a rocket built, I’m pretty sure Kristin would have a solution figured out by lunch time.”
She has a hand in all of our clients whether it’s leading a meeting, creating ads, managing a photoshoot, or running a brainstorm session. Kristin is exceptional. Her favorite part of her job is “creating ad campaigns that show real results.” But watch out, you may be the victim of a prank at any moment. You see, as smart as she is, Kristin understands that fun is an integral part of business. She motivates employees to do their best work and encourages them to follow their unique passions.
Kristin expects the best from herself and those she works with. Those high standards can be seen in the strategic work for clients like iFetch, UMG Nashville, and Merrell. She is quick to offer advice to Project Managers about a particularly difficult project and approaches each one with the expertise and grace of a professional. She’s also a great writer, and has written about how to nurture a Facebook audience, Pinterest marketing, and why TV ads aren’t as affective as the digital space.
When she’s not at work, you’ll find her trying out a new cupcake recipe, watching “The Blacklist” with her husband Jacob, or chasing her rambunctious puppies! Whether at work or home, you’ll find her with a positive attitude and a smile on her face.
Let’s learn more about Kristin:
Parachute Media: What is something quirky about you?
Kristin: I love to bake cupcakes, and I grocery shop when I’m stressed.
Parachute Media: Who is one of your professional heros and why?
Kristin: Dr. Abbey Levenshus. Abbey is a public relations professor and one of my favorite humans. She’s passionate about everything she does, and her hard work shows in every project she’s a part of. I look up to her in so many ways.
Parachute Media: What is your grand, audacious goal?
Kristin: To own my own business! I really admire what Ryan’s done with Parachute Media, and while I’m not sure that I’d start my own marketing agency, I’m enamored by the idea of working for myself. A fabulous bakery might be in my future.
Parachute Media: What two songs describe your life right now?
Kristin: All the UMG Nashville songs.
